Porsche recommends replacing the spark plugs in your Porsche Cayman engine every 40K miles or at the 4-year major service. Spark plugs are critical for engine performance and degraded spark plugs result in poor engine performance, excess gas consumption, and eventually misfires, check engine lights, and diagnostic fees! Turbo engines need spark plugs replaced every 4 years or 30K miles.
Spark plugs should not remain in an engine for more than 7 years. They can easily become stuck and the costs to remove them are substantial. This can often be neglected on low mileage cars. Our spark plug replacement cost for your Porsche Cayman is at least 20% less than the equivalent dealer charge.
