MINOR MAINTENANCE EVERY 20K MILES

  • Recommended Oil Change: Every 10k miles or 15k km) or after 12 months, whichever comes first.

Note: It is important to know that if the specified mileage hasn’t been met, minor maintenance should generally be carried out every 2 years.

  • Radiators and air intakes: A visual inspection of the exterior for blockages and signs of debris
  • Coolant: Ensure that there is enough coolant and antifreeze
  • Parking brake: Ensure they is no free play
  • Brake system: Inspect the brake pads and the discs for any signs of wear
  • Brake hoses and lines: Check if there is no corrosion, the routing is correct, and there is enough brake fluid
  • Axle shafts: Visually inspect the dust boots for damage or leaks
  • Axle joints: Visually inspect the dust boots for any signs of damage and play
  • Drive shafts: A visual inspection of the sleeves for any signs of damage or leaks and the center bearing for damage
  • Hydraulically detachable off-road sway bar: Ensure adequate fluid levels
  • The exhaust system: Inspect it for signs of damage or leaks also the mounts
  • Tires, external spare wheel: Ensure they are in good condition with correct tire pressure
  • Lubricate all the fastening bolts and latch
  • Panorama roof: Adopt the control module
  • Windshield wiper/washer system, headlight washer: Check antifreeze levels, fluid level, function, adjust nozzle alignment and ensure wiper blades are in good condition
  • Seat belts: Check that they are operating
  • Vehicle lighting: Ensure it is working
  • All headlights: Ensure they are working

  • Batteries and ventilation hoses: Ensure they are in good condition
  • Trailer coupling: Ensure it is working

ADDITIONAL MAINTENANCE – REPLACELING THE SPARK PLUGS

  • Replace spark plugs: Cayenne every 40k miles / 60k km or 4 years
  • Replace spark plugs: Cayenne S every 60k miles / 90k km or 4 years
  • Replace spark plugs: Cayenne Turbo every 40k miles / 60k km or 4 years

ADDITIONAL MAINTENANCE TO BE CARRIED OUT EVERY 80K MILES / 120K KM OR 4 YEARS

  • Changing air filter elements (1 or 2 dependent on options)

ADDITIONAL MAINTENANCE TO BE CARRIED OUT EVERY 160K MILES / 240K KM OR 16 YEARS

  • Replace front differential
  • Change the rear differential’s drive oil
  • Replace the transfer case oil
  • Replace manual transmission oil (MT oil)
  • Replace Tiptronic transmission oil and accompanying ATF filter

ADDITIONAL MAINTENANCE EVERY 2 YEARS

  • Brake fluid should be changed (Important to use only Original Porsche Brake Fluid)

ADDITIONAL MAINTENANCE EVERY 4 YEARS

  • Replace tire sealant

ADDITIONAL MAINTENANCE EVERY 4 YEARS ~ THEN EVERY 2 YEARS

  • Check battery of the TPS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)

A ROAD TEST CHECK

  • Remote control, air-conditioning system and instruments foot brake, parking brake, front seats (also operating travel), engine, clutch, ParkAssist, automatic speed control, steering, transmission, PSM switches, heater,: ensure they are working.
  • Oils, fluids: Visually inspect for leaks
